Our Origin Story
MouseGuard Services was built on a simple belief: homeowners should be treated like people not just another number in a system.
After serving with the Minnesota National Guard, including overseas deployments, I carried home a mindset rooted in discipline, precision, and responsibility. In the military, I learned that real security doesn't come from temporary fixes it comes from doing the job right the first time and making sure the problem stays solved.
When I returned home, I spent years working with some of the leading pest control and wildlife service companies in our area. I started in the field as a technician, learning the hands-on side of the work. Over time, I expanded into sales and eventually into a general manager role. That experience gave me a full picture of the industry what works, what doesn't, and what homeowners are often missing.
And what I saw too often was this: customers stuck in a system. Recurring services, quick fixes, and little personal connection. Homes were treated like accounts, not like the places where families live their lives.
That didn't sit right with me.
